Good afternoon,

We got strange behaviour of ours IP 650. We was on software 3.1.x with astreisk 1.4. All incoming calls to the all phones in ring group were in the missed calls menu, now we did upgrade to the latest 4.0.9 sip software with 4.4.0 BootRom + Asterisk was changed to 11 version. Behaviour changes since that, we still do see call in missed call if nobody from ring group picked up that call, but once somebody talk to the caller - no call @ missed call menu.

Did somebody saw the same behaviour change? is there any way to move it back to old one?

thank you.

Hello snake,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Since UCS 4.0.0 we do support RFC 3326 "Call completed elsewhere" and this would clear the missed call if your SIP server supports this.

As someone has spoken to the caller it does no longer make sense to list this as a missed call.

Hello,

I have an ip 650 which has been in use for at least 4 years and I am with RingCentral.  I was attempting to set up the phone on a new phone line number and tech support at RC is saying because it is 'self assigned' they are unable to as of 2015 to assign a unique number to the phone as apparently cisco has changed their policy regarding resetting it to factory settings?

Please help and or advise on how to do this without having to resort to buying a new phone.

Kind Regards

Hello tuscans,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

You still have not answered or marked your other post's => here <=

In addition I am unsure what your reply has to do with the original topic.

Also you have already been told this:

"Hello Hello tuscans,,

We do not disclose within this official Polycom community how to reset the Phones if the Admin Password is lost.

Many of our partners utilize these phones and offer services so we cannot publicly disclose the procedure to do so.

If your phone is still able to connect to the Provisioning server please reset the password via the Device Parameters documented in the Admin Guide or here

The above is also stated in the Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum

We will remove any post replying to this that will publicly explain how to remove the password."

What are you actually after and what does it have to do with Cisco ?????
