strange, on a 650 Polycom Sound station, This message displays on the phone when the provision credentials are enter and saved. (Error: Missing Files,config.reverted)

 

here is what has been done;

 

1.The phone is at factory default. 
2. I enter the provision credentials. 
3. I save and reboot the phone, right away before it reboots it displays, Error: Missing Files,config.reverted.

 

any idea

Hello NCAKK,

 

same advise and suggestions as in my last reply to yourself.

 

It is always helpful posting the current phone software.

 

In addition checking the phone logs or simply the provisioning server logs will tell you what files the phone is expecting to be able to load.

 

Feedback to a solved solution is appreciated for other users that may find this post via the search function.

Hello NCAKK,

 

just as a follow up for the Forum Search an extract from the UCS 4.0.1 Admin Guide:

 

Missing files, config. reverted


This message displays when errors in the configuration and a failure to download the configuration files force the phone to revert to its previous (known) condition with a complete set of configuration files.

 

This will also display if the files listed in the <MAC Address>.cfg file are not present on the provisioning server.

hi,

just to let you know that there was the file direct.cfg in the MAC file that was doing all this.

When file was removed it solved the issue.
