Hi

We would like to put two SIP lines on one Soundpoint phone.

One line is local and the other one is from another server on a remote site.

I tried to do it in phone.cfg but the remote line always failed to register.

What am I missing here?

Two sites are interconnected by a MPLS link and all ports are open.

Thank you

Hello xc7621,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This is a pretty simple task and as long as there is no networking issue should be easy to setup.

The community's VoIP => FAQ <= contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Above documents how a simple 1 line registration works. Based on the same instructions a second or more lines can be added.

For troubleshooting please look at this post:
