Hello,

 

My company has 6 Polycom VVX300/310 phones.  We are so confused because when looking at the screen, you can see users names beside extension buttons.  However, when you lift the headset, the names disappear and we are left with 1s and 0s.  Can someone help us understand why this is happening?  For instance, when our receptionist tries to transfer calls, the employee names disappear.  Also, is there an expansion module that would make sense for our receptionists' phone?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.
