We have some long names in the directory on Polycom IP335 rev B. and names do no scroll. This makes it difficult to select the user needed. You cannot use the cursor keys to scroll (gets you into edit  or display mode).

 

Is there a solution for this issue?

welcome to the Polycom Community.

This is currently working as designed and I am not aware of a way to change this.

 

8 Letters for the first Name and 8 Letters for the last Name display completely on the screen. Anything longer is truncated.

 

You would need to raise this via your Polycom reseller as a feature request working with a Polycom sales engineer to produce a business case.
