I've inherited a Soundpoint IP VOIP phone with an old firmware reversion: 2.5.0. I did a factory reset on the phone successfully, but the phone continues to hang during use. I have to power-cycle the phone to keep it online.
It has no problem registering on my Elastix server. When I tried to provision the phone to update the firmware, the setup menu has no option for the http protocol for the URL (<removed by the moderator>).
How can I update the firmware on this phone?

That's is interesting....the firmware version in the phone is newer than the latest software 2.1.3. Is that real? or I'm looking at two different things!

Hello K,
You may be looking at the wrong screen but as explained the software quoted is the latest. You may be checking the BootROM or something else but the FAQ also contains a post in regards of how to check the software Version.
This specific phone was sold back in 17/02/2005 and therefore is 10 years out of warranty.
Please utilize the available post's and documentation or consider investing money into a current phone with warranty and support available to yourself.
