Purchase 10 Polycom VVX400 IP phones thru  Verizon virtual communication service.

Connect those 10 phones to my existing network and every works. calling and receiving call without any problem.

However, since i connected those 10 phones to my local network, 10 of my existing PC cannot go to interent but can access network drive or folder without problem.

When i disconnect the VVX400 phones, those PC can go to interent.

I have checked the IP addresses of the phones and PC, found no conflict at all.

Please help.

Thanks

Hello Mike,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

  • Are the PC's connected via the phones network port ?
  • Are you using any VLAN's ?
  • Are the phones in the same Network range as the PC's ?
Can you ping the PC from the phone or the other way round?
  • Has Verizon support been contacted yet?

hello,

The PC's connected different port on th switch. We don't setup up VLan yet. The phones lie within the same DHCP pool as the PC. We don't know how to ping the PC from the phone but we can do the other way around.

We contacted Verizon support but dont come up any solution yet.

Thanks

Hello Mike,

On the Phone:

  • Menu => Status => Diagnostic => Network => Ping

If the above does not work or help you locally to troubleshoot this issue Verizon Support or the company you purchased the phones from needs to raise a Support Ticket with Polycom.
