The new VVX 600's are shipped and the end users are happy... Or not...?

 

The VVX 600's are shipped with UCS software version 4.1.2 but the VVX camera only works on UCS 4.1.3

It seems like there is no newer software version than 4.1.2 for the Rev. J devices?

Hello GvHemert,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The initial release introducing the VVX600 was 4.1.2

 

UCS 4.1.3 added camera support

UCS 4.1.4 added support for the VVX300/400

UCS 4.1.5 included various fixes and is the current common Release for SIP for the VVX500,600,300 and 400

 

UCS 5.0.0 is a mainly LYNC release

Hi Steffen,

 

My reseller tells me he cannot install the newer versions because they get the error message that the devices are not supported.

They have tried version 4.1.5 and version 5.0.0...

are you sure he is using UCS 4.1.5.3284 Rev E?

 

I would suggest you contact our support team straight away as we would need to work with your reseller and check the logs.

Yes,

 

only this software and the UCS 5.0.0.7250 Rev D are compatible with the new HW rev J on the VVX600.
