Hi,

 

I have a polycom 601. I set the following values on provisioning server:

 

<msg msg.bypassInstantMessage="1">

up.oneTouchVoiceMail="1"

 This way I can access voice mail box directly. But when I am setting up a second line(different) on the phone it is not working and I should pick the box for the line that I want to check. How can I fix this? How can I make the first line default?

Hello Nikita,

 

this feature is more used for a 1x Line setup with the same registration. There is no way to default to Line 1 and the only way around would be to re-map the Messages button with an EFK to simulate the keystrokes needed to get to the message centre of line 1.

 

As the SPIP601 is end of life and will be end of support soon so I am unsure if the SIP 3.1.8 Software is able to utilize the relevant EFK action.

 

The FAQ contains the examples for it so you would need to test this yourself.
