POE issues - polycom soundpoint ip 550 with cisco 3850

Hi Team,

 

We have IP phones 550 in our office which are connected to Cisco 3850 switches. Whenever placing calls the 550 phones are getting rebooted. Do 3850 cisco switches have any power poe compatibility issues with Polycom soundpoint IP 550?

Hello haivipin4u,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

SIP Software Version 3.3.0.1098 BootROM Software Version 4.3.0.0246

 

 

We had no issues till now. Recently the switch was changed.

Hello haivipin4u,

This is no longer a supported version and I suggest you upgrade to UC Software 4.0.11

Okay software version is fine. Will upgrade to new verison.

 

Apart from software do we have any compatibility issue with Cisco 3850 switch POE?
