VVX 600 / VVX500 / VVX400 firmware 5.2.0: question, Can I page just one phone and not a group? If so, how is that setup?

Hello Bruggs,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I suggest you check the Push-To-Talk or the Group Paging section within the Admin Guide as this explains in detail what is possible.

 

If you did not mean this specific technology please provide more details and ensue to use a currently supported software like UC Software 5.5.2 or UC Software 5.4.6.

Thanks Steffen.  I'm going throuhg that now.

 

1 Navigate to Settings > Basic > Preferences > Paging/PTT Configuration > Group Paging.

On VVX 1500 phones, navigate to Menu > Settings > Basic > Preferences > Paging/PTT

Configuration > Group Paging.

2 From the Group Paging Configuration screen, select Group Subscriptions.

3 From the Group Subscriptions screen, select the group you want to subscribe to, and select Yes. I'm getting hung up on #3.

Like I mentioned, you must be on a currently supported software version as replied in my original post.

 

Once this has been accomplished and you see the same issue please open a support ticket.


In order to raise a support ticket you need to work with your Polycom reseller as they need to do this for you.

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter please post either your phone's MAC address or your Polycom devices serial so I can look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Polycom device from.
