Paging + Ext Dialing

Hi, can you please tell me how we can page and have an ext that connects to our intercom via an ATA at the same time?  If that is not possible, is there a way to call all ext. simultaniously with out rining to make an announcement.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as certain features depend on the software level.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

We are utilizing Comcast VoiceEdge Hosted PBX, Polycom 335/310 Version 4.0.5.4233, Intercom via CISCO ATA,

Thanks for the response.  We have the paging feature enabled and have that setup on all handsets. And it works great for the handsets. 

 

The issue we have is that we have an intercom system (horns) in a very loud foundry.  Under the current setup, we can only page to all phones.   To make the horns announce we must dial Ext 555 which then makes an announcement. 

 

Is there a way to incorporate that Ext 555 with the page Button?  If not, is there a way to make an announcement that will hit all phones and the horns simultaniously?

not knowing anything about your infrastructure aka Call server it's impossible to provide any advise.

 

I outlined the two methods our phones support so whoever looks after your SIP server should be able to utilize this information.
