Hi there, we have enabled ppt and verified ptt.pttMode.enable=1 on the phones configured. I have confirmed the phone is set to subscribed for the paging group. On the phone I see the 'Talk' button, not a 'Paging' buttion as others have described. When we press the Talk button, and pick the paging group, nothing happens. I have confirmed this is the case for both firmware versions 5.4.2.2834 and 5.5.0.20556. Wondering if I'm missing someting or if it's a bug. Please advise.

Thanks

Kyle

Hello Kyle,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

Did you ever follow => this <= or any other of your posts up as recommended?

For the above your outstanding action was to purchase the relevant per Device LYNC license to enable you to use Polycom phones with LYNC.

In regards to your new question. The Feature is called Push to Talk.

Selecting the Channel you want to use and then pressing and holding aka pushing the Talk button will start the PTT Session until you let go of the talk key.

This represents how a old fashioned walkie talkie would work.

That worked! I didn't know the buttong had to be held down. Thanks for the quick response!

And yes, these phones do have UCS license.

Cheers

Hello Kyle,

great news I could help and ensure you have a record of these per Device LYNC licenses on hand if you ever need to raise a Polycom support ticket as we do check this.

Best Regards
