Hi;

We have several (3) polycom voip phones and 1 Trio 8800.  None of the Polycom devices will connect to our network or if they do they connect intermitently.  Our Aastra phones, computers, tablets and cell phones connect no problem.  

 

The trio 8800 won't connect by ethernet at all, WiFi sort of but spotty.

Is there some setting that will make the Polycom devices work with DHCP in a more normal way?

Hello JCN,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

I have not heard of anything like this and we would need to see some kind of logs.

 

Please work with your Polycom reseller so they can open a Polycom support ticket for you or if you fail to identify them please post your MAC Addresses so I can look them up for you.
