Plantronics headset issue with Soundpoint IP 450



We recently purchased 10 new Polycom Soundpoint IP 450 phones. For headset's we use Plantronics Supraplas HW251H Headset's, listed as compatible with the 450's. These headset's work fine on the older phones (same model) we have. But

for some reason when plugged into the newer ones, the person you are talking to cannot hear you when using the headset.


I haved checked all the headset related settings on the phone, and they match the older phones taht do work with the headset's

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am not aware that we have made any changes to the way our Phones work with the compatible Headsets so I can only suggest to reach out to Plantronics so they can work with Polycom support.


If this is unsuccessful please work with your Polycom reseller to open a case with Polycom support.
