Hi,
We are looking to use power injector PoE units (located in IT comms room) to power some CX 500 phones, rather than using PoE switches as we have done in past. After contacting our Polycom sales support, it appears that Polycom do not offically sell PoE power injectors, only mains power adaptors which you plug into the mains wall power socket next to the phone, not what we want.
Does anyone know if Polycom do actually resell PoE power injectors?
If not, has anyone successfully purchased non Polycom power injectors and deployed them? i.e. http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/Specifications.asp?ProductID=9831#Content
Thank you
Mike

Thanks for the reply Steffen.
For anyone else wanting to use power injectors for CX 500 (or 600) phones, I can confirm having tested on both phones that the following PoE power injector works fine (TP-Link PoE Injector) : http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/Specifications.asp?ProductID=9831#Content
Hope this is of use to someone.
Thanks
Mike

Hello Mike,
welcome to the Polycom Community.
We do sell these kind of adapters for our SoundStation IP 6000 and 7000 Phone and they deliver 48V via the PoE Standard.
Please contact your Polycom reseller for more details but usually the only article for the CX phones is a single power supply.
Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
Best Regards
