Hi Everyone,

 

I recently had a customer purchase a large number of Poly VVX 250 and it surprised me when we got logged in how much different the web interface. I saw that you can spin up a TFTP server and move back to UC but is there a video or a good explanation on the differences between UC and OBi?

Could you therefore kindly go over them and mark or answer as appropriate?

If they are marked as "Accept as a solution" other users can find these easier and it helps them to utilize the community more efficiently. Please do not simply mark them without any type of feedback.

 

For your new question, I am not aware of such a comparison Video outlining the differences.

 

From a "normal" Phone usage they both can do most likely the same aka register to a openSIP server including multiple different servers.

 

For the ObiEdition you will not find much details here so maybe better to check the "old" Obi Forum instead.

 

For UC Software there are to many different features to list. As we do not know what kind of industry your customer is in it is hard to suggest certain features.

 

An often overlooked feature is, for example, is Paging / Push to talk.

 

Poly does not officially support the conversion of Obi Edition to UC Edition.
