SIP bought a 6000, and am trying to configure the same and does not save the settings. Both the web interface as setting up an account for the next sip device.

What should I do?

Hello Thiago,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

You have not provided any feedback if this unit is new or second hand or what Software Version it has installed.

Most likely I am assuming it is a used unit and may still point to its original provisioning server and may download an old configuration.

This is all based on guessing so I suggest the following.

The communitys VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

The latest supported Software for the SSIP6000 is UCS 4.0.3 Rev F. Please follow aboe post and upgrade your unit.

Then follow this:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
