I had purchased a batch of Polycom 321 phones. While poking around in the settings on one of them I accidentally wiped out the file system(don't ask how). I had to set up a boot server using Filezilla to reupload the phone with the proper firmware.

The problem is, this phone now seems dependent on my boot server to start up. The other factory phones I have do not seem to have any external dependencies, only the one I touched.

What kind of setting am I missing here? How can I get this phone to act like the rest?

Thanks,

Dan

Hello ,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Cot 7, 2011 Question: How can I setup my Phone / Provisioning / Download / Upgrade / Update / Downgrade Software?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

Not knowing what software you are running on the other phones and the one that is causing you issues I recommend for simplicity to upgrade all to the currently latest UCS 4.0.4.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
