Polycom 330 won't reset from factory silent mode

We have Polycom 330 phones with the following configuration:


SIP Version

P/N 3150-11530-304

File: sip.ld

Model: Soundpoint Ip 330 SIP

Bicom sip Version: bicom pbxware  sip


When I set the ringer so teachers can hear it in their class, it works once or twice, then resets back to factory default.  When the office calls the classroom, their is no ring.


Also, on these phone the only way to dial out is to leave the phone hung up, dial the number, then pick up to call.  Is there a way to change this?

The SoundPoint IP 320/330 was being discontinued and was no longer available for purchase after 12/31/2009. Support for the product was available until 12/31/2014.


You are using an old and outdated phone with an old and no longer supported version.


Please at least upgrade to the latest supported software UC Software 3.3.5
