Hi,

We are having a issue with a Polycom Soundpoint IP 450 phone.

Running firmware version: 4.4.0.0080.

When we reboot the phone it retrieves the 000000000000.cfg configuration file from the provisioning server.

But the included referred file [PHONE_MAC_ADDRESS]_config_local-settings.cfg is not retrieved.

When we go to the settings menu and press the update configuration option it retrieves all.

How can we enforce all files are also retrieved at boot time?

Retrieval of 000000000000.cfg:

(please discard the . after each line, since that indicates the linebreak).

Hello mariostaphorst,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

4.4.0 is not the Software Version as this should be either 4.0.x or 4.1.x for a SPIP 450

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check => here <=

I would suggest you set the CURL logging level to EVENT 1 and check your App log for more detail.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hi,

The software version is: 4.0.4.2906

I enabled curl debugging.

The only debug info we see regarding this file is a non-curl one:

000008.208|so |*|03|Configuration files: local-settings.cfg
000008.208|so |*|03|Configuration file "local-settings.cfg" SHA1 digest: A56E5A6574C9CAD70C0EDACFC7171DCA7AC6E051

When we put the phone in factory reset, and then point it to the provisioning server again it:

-Upgrades his firmware

-Retrieve the config, including the local-settings.cfg (after receiving the 000000000000.cfg).

When we reboot the phone again after this procedure it gets the 000000000000.cfg file but not the local-settings.cfg anymore for some reason..
