Looking for an experts help. We have many IP-501 phones that pass multicast traffic flawlessly but our IP-601 phone will not. Has anyone had this same experience and if so, please advise on making these work properly. Thanks

Hello Handyman,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

 

Please be aware of the following:

 

The SoundPoint IP 601 has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase. Support for the product will be available until 03/31/2013. The SoundPoint IP 601 has been replaced by the SoundPoint IP 650.

It is often useful to provide the currently used software version as this may be affecting the phones behavior.

 

The phone should run SIP 3.1.8 and the latest BootROM for this phone is 4.1.4

 

Once you confirmed that both phones are running the same software I would suggest you check the phones network settings.
