Polycom 7000

Hi, I have a ploycom 7000 which has an IP address and I can access via a webpage and log in, however when I try and modify the settings and click save I get a mesage saying Please Wait while phone resets but then after waiting I go back to my forms and everything I have typed in has gone. Please help.

Hello Boycey,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC server

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

I suggest you upgrade to the latest supported UC Software 4.0.9 as explained here:

Unfortunately Im working remotely so couldnt get any software versions or upgrade at this point, Was hoping someone may have had this before and know that I was missing somthing silly. Done plenty of these before with no issues at all. Its a SIP connection to a Mitel

Hello Boycey,

I suggest to upgrade as older software version sometimes showed this behavior. A new version also gives you better troubleshooting etc.
