Hello, Community

Does anyone know is it possible to assign a BLF on a particular button which is also used as a regular line?

For example, the phone has 2 lines: 800 and 901. 800 is a regular line and 901 is a auxiliary line which is used solely for outgoing calls and just provides the different caller ID. Is it possible also assign the BLF for the extension 801 on the line 901? So, if I hit this button I will have a dialtone for the extension 901 and in the same time I will see the status for the extension 801, when the line is idle.

I have a feeling that I should combine these two parts of the config, but I do not know how to do that and is it possible at all

reg.2.displayName="901"
        reg.2.server.1.address="sip.server.com"
        reg.2.address="901"
        reg.2.label="901"
        reg.2.auth.userId="901"

        attendant.reg="2"
        attendant.resourceList.2.address="sip:801@sip.server.com"

Hello xxot,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

A BLF / Busy Lamp field is to monitor the activity of an extension and pressing the key can either dial the extension or pick up a call signalling on his extension.

A line can be called or being used to make calls so they are two different things.

You may want to look at a shared line instead if supported by your SIP switch.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
