Hello,

I have the Polycom CX100 VOIP speakerphone.

I am using this with MS Communicator 2007 and Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 clients.

Every few minutes or so, the speakerphone stops working. I have to unplug it from the USB and reconnect and rejoin the audio to make it work again. This cycle repeats itself after few mins. There is no pattern on how many mins it works - sometimes it lasts as long as 10mins, sometimes less than a minute.

Any idea what could be wrong? I am on my 2nd device now. I thought the first one may have some hardware issue. So I returned and got a new one. But new one is having the same issue. I am coming to conclusion that there is something on my computer side that maybe causing it. But have no idea what it can be as there is no config settings that I know to look at.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am on Win7 Enterprise Operating system.

Hello MS1234,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The drivers for the CX100 are provided by Microsoft in the form of the OCS or LYNC client. There may be a conflict with another hardware on your PC and you may want to try the communicator on another machine if possible.

A hardware fault has already been excluded by yourself when you exchanged the CX100 in question.

The next step would most likely involve opening a ticket with Microsoft for further troubleshooting.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
