Lync 2010 deployment has 1000+ devices, several of which are the Polycom CX300.  We have a situation with one that is being used in conjuction with the Lync Web Attendant that the speakerphone will just randomly appear on the display.   I do have the playback set to the CX300 in sound settings, as there are no external speakers.  You can lift the handset when it appears, it will go away for a bit, but will eventualy come back.   Does not appear to be service affecting in any way, you can still make/receive calls and is more annoying than anything.  This is running on a Windows 7 SP1 64-bit OS desktop.

I have tried swapping the phone, moving it to another USB port, uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling.  Has anyone else ever seen this?

Regards,

Connie

Hello Connie,

Polycom manufacturers these phones but the driver support is provided, supported and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.

You therefore may want to reach out to the Microsoft® community and / or Microsoft® support directly instead as this is the most direct and efficient path.
