Hi,

From Polycom IP 7000 First I call personA. Then press Conf button, person A goes on Hold.

Place call to Person B. Person B answers, connect. Up to this everything is fine.

When I press Conf button (Either Conf button/ Soft key), polycom phone hangs up, Person A receives new call from Person B, SUCH THAT Polycom is transferring the call from B to A.

I think I'll have to modify the code/script to change the function of Conf button. Can anyone help regarding this.

What should be the CODE I change to.

Hello epitaf,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

In addition I doubt the Polycom phone hangs up the call, aka sending a BYE.

 

I would assume , as documented =>  here <= that we send a re-INVITE to the held call and your SIP server does not like this.

 

What SIP server are you using ?
