Hello,

I want to know, if I can use my Polycom 7000 IP (maybe)  via USB as a conference microphone (Skype, icq; WEBBEX, ......)

and how can i do it.

When I connect it via USB on my PC, it will be not shown on PC.

Thank You for your help

Hello WEDV,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The USB port is currently not in use.

According to the Datasheet => here <= :

Built-in 2.5mm applications port allows you to connect the conference phone to a mobile phone for productive calls even where no network connection is available, or to a computer for calls using PC-based soft phone clients.

Please liaise with your Polycom Reseller where you can purchase the Computer Calling Kit for the SSIP7000.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
