I have a Polycom IP335, and have recently been getting random calls from what seems to be a port scan, as there may be 40 to 50 calls at a time.    My VoIP provider recommended that I disable URL dialing, since I don't use that feature.     Can someone please advise as to how I can disable that feature?       I do have the MAC address of the culprit that appears to be port scanning, and I've considered doing some MAC filtering on my router, but I would prefer to disable the URL Dialing feature.

Hello BLTSeattle,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

I am unsure what this post has to to with the Phones time but the community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Jan 28, 2013 Question: Time and Date flashing or unable to set time correctly

Resolution: Please check => here <=

In addition I do not believe that the URL dialing has anything to do with the spam calls you are receiving.

Oct 24 2014 Question:How can I prevent tools like sipvicious or nuisance calls ringing my phone?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

I have deleted your double post.
