Dear all,

I did put 80 new entrys to 000000000000-directory.xml and upload it to IP5000 / IP7000.

IP7000 works perfectly, you can see all contacts and speed dials.

IP5000, you can see all contacts under Contact Directory, if you edit entry you can see speed dial index number but when phone is in main menu and you press "up" button Speed Dial Info displays "no records".

After 4 hours, suprise suprise "speed dial" info is updated.... and then 1h after reboot "no records"

Can enyone help me to resolve that mystery ?

Seb

Hello Seb,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The 000000000000-directory.xml file is only loaded once the phone boots up for the first time. After this that file is no longer read and all changes are stored in an individual <mac>-directory.xml.

This is explained in the VoIP FAQ => here <=

In addition it is always useful to post the currently used software versions as issues can be compared agains the release notes.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
