Our SP550 phone can store Missed Call history, but it doesn't doconsistently.  That means sometimes the calls were logged, but sometimes are not.

 

Where I may be able to check what caused those Missed Calls not always stored?

I already answered your original post => here <=

 

If the SIP Display Part is missing from an invite the phone will display the call on the display but will not show its number in the missed call list or if answered in the answered calls.

 

There is already a ticket open for this issue but I would advise you work with your Polycom reseller to bring this to the attention of Polycom support to confirm if you are having the same issue.

Yes, there was an good response that to make sure "Display Contact Info" show in the header.  We did get that resolved.  What I mention here is that sometimes the number is stored in Missed History, sometimes it doesn't.  I would think it either works or doesn't work.  What could be the reason it sometime doesn't store Missed calls?

as explained above if part of the SIP signaling is missing this is the behavior I described.

I did reproduce it.  If I enable CNAM for that DID, when there is "Display Contact Info" part, MIssed Call history stored. 

 

It sounds like the softswitch, or DID provider needs to make sure "Display Contact Info" header part is avaliable, if it is missing, insert it with just phone number.

Looks like Polycom phone relies sole on "SIP Display info" from "From" header to store MIssed or Received phone history.  Is this a bug?  Since "SIP Display info" came with DID CNAM field, it is not always enabled, that prevents MIssed call history store.  Why Polycom phone not use phone number or PAI field to store missed call history?

as mentioned in my previous reply we already have a ticket for this open.

 

Our support team would need to see a SIP trace with the signaling taken at the phone to determine if your issue is the same as the one we already have open.

 

Please work with your Polycom reseller to raise this with Polycom support.
