we got the Soundstation IP5000 for our company and I have to take care of the setup, but I am totally overwhelmed with the setup of this device and now I have the problem, that I don't know how to setup this phone on our Telephone System, we use an Elmeg ICT 880rack, unfortunately the instructions over the phone, which I could find, aren’t helping me.

Currently I am at the following position: The phone has a fixed IP, at the PBX an MSN is already created and Free, now the phone only needs to retrieve the MSN from the PBX and recognize it as its MSN,hope it helps, the Telephone runs on the SIP software version 3.3.3.0069.

 

So now to my question something more detailed: If I go into the web configuration of the phone I have to set the address, Authentication User ID, Authentication Password, Server 1 Address and Server 1 Port at Lines, in my case because of the PBX not the main connection data comes in, but some from the server (If I have understood correctly)

Where do I normally find this information in a telephone system?

thank you for your help, I have another question, the phone works fine in itself, the colleague would like to but while he contacts a partner company also enter the direct connection in the hotline, so far he does this via his mobile phone and there is at the phone number also " #, " with available, if we enter this number in the contact directory he wants to call the number following 12345#,,6789@192.168.0.X
we would have to be able to enter more digits here during an ongoing call, enter them under others # or call from the contact directory without the phone trying to connect to @192.168.0.x.

danke dir für deine hilfe, ich hätte noch eine weitere Frage, das Telefon Funktioniert an sich Problemlos, der Kollege würde gerne aber während er eine Partnerfirma Kontaktiert auch in der Hotline die direkt Verbindung eingeben, bisher macht er dies über sein Handy und da ist bei der Telefonnummer auch " #,, " mit vorhanden, wenn wir diese nummer ins Kontaktverzeichnis eintragen will er die nummer folgend anrufen 12345#,,6789@192.168.0.X


wir müssten hier entwerder während eines laufendes Anrufes weitere ziffern, unter anderen # eingeben können oder aus dem Kontakt Verzeichnis herraus anrufen, ohne dass das Telefon mit @192.168.0.x verbinden will.

you are unable to use a Pause in the Speed Dial.

 

You could try and use an EFK as described => here <= in Example 1
