Polycom Soundpoint 331 New message scroll

Hello,

 

We have recently upgraded our firmware to 4.0.15.1009, we were previously on 3.1.3.  Since we have upgraded we have noticed that the display shows new messages and missed calls on a scroll on the top part of the screen.   Is there a way to disable that scrolling and it always display lines and time/date like normal?   I would like it to display the envelope next line number and have the led blink just not the scroll.

 

I have already disabled the missed calls, so now its just new voicemails that cause it to scroll at the top of the screen.

 

I feel like I have exhausted every avenue trying to change this with no luck.

Welcome to the Poly Community.

You cannot disable the scrolling but you could check the date & time format via  Preferences > Date & Time > Display Format and try dd/mm/yy

Hello,

 

Display format is not one of the options.  If there was a way to have the Time and date still display like normal, even behind the scrolling that would be a big help.  People glance at their phone to check the time and now if they have a message, its not just a glance.

 

Is there a way to make the time & date display like normal no matter what?

to my personal knowledge, you cannot disable the rotating view.
