Polycom Soundpoint IP 331 and ringer (2 Questions)

We purchased about 50 of these for our elem school biulding.  We were able to get them connected to our Bicom server, and everything seemed to work.  However:

1. The ringer on the phones seems to reset to the silent option on the phones after 1 or several uses, so the teacher can never hear it ring.

2. We have to leave the handset down to dial, then can pick it up after dialing is complete.

 

If anyone has a solution, we would certainly appreciate it!

Hello neillundgren,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.
