Hi everyone,

We have polycom soundstation 6000 and currently facing Network problem, it won't get IP address from the DHCP server, so I checked the pool address if there is still available and still there is but it wont get any IP. I plugged a PC on that particular port and it was able to ge ant IP.  Now I set a static IP on the soundpoint hoping that will solve the problem  but the problem now is I cannot ping it even though correct IP parameters are set. Now I brought back the polycom to our office and plugged it and its working smoothly.. No firewall on the remote branch. I already tried the method of reset:  Device Settings ,local config and web but still no luck.  Their router is Cisco  SRP521W , is there any configurations that should be changed ? Any help is very much appreciated.

SIP version: 3.3.3.0069

Hello aian,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

You already proved that the SSIP6000 is fundamentally working by taking it to another network.

As long as you are using all the correct cabling and the switchports are setup for no VLAN or anything then the next step would be a wireshark trace by spanning the port the phone is plugged into to verify if their is any Network activity.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
