Dear All,

Does someone has experience got works Polycom Soundpoint IP 33x and Audiocodes MP11x for SAS (Stand Alone Survivability)? Because i can not make call from Soundpoint IP 331 to another Soundpoint IP 331 (not ringing). But if i made call from X-lite to Soundpoint IP 331 was ok, it was ringing at Soundpoint IP 331 and the vocie both direction.

Another thing, if call from Soundpoint IP 331 to PSTN was ok.

Need advise.

Thanks.
Sinjo

This is old, but to date still having difficulty getting specifics on how to configure Polycom phones and SAS.  Especially is a BroadSoft deployment with Primary/Secondary Outbound Proxies.  SAS seems like a FallBack (Polycom term) feature, but FallBack docs seem to indicate that this won't work if Outbound Proxies are used (since the Signaling always want to go through Outbound Proxies all of the time).  All configuration for Fallback seems to be with the SIP Server and seems incompatible with the use of Outbound Proxies.

Hello all,

The described scenario does not contain any information on the used software version so nobody could cross check this against known issues listed in the release notes.

In addition issues like this need to be investigated via support and therefore require log files and traces. This is outside the scope of the Polycom community and a Polycom reseller needs to be contacted.
