Siemens tech support and I having problems adding SIP phone to system.  Got it to a point where I can dial from the Soundstation to an extension, but nothing can be heard on either end ( Polycom lights are green).  When I end call it will try ringing the extension 1 more time.  When trying to dial the Polycom from an in-house extn, I get busy tone with "Not Possible".  This is 1st SIP experience on HP4K as all phones are OpenScape HFA.    Siemens tells me SIP enabled STMI card is correct and that station setup is correct.  Using suggested Port 5060.  Any help appreciated.

Thanks.

Tom

Hello Tom,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Usually companies like Siemens would have done the interoperability testing with our phones and document the required setup in order to utilize our endpoints with their PABX.

The community's VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Oct 7, 2011 Question: Can I register or is my Polycom Phone compatible with a “XYZ” SIP Server?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

Above post links to a interoperability list which does include Siemens.

In addition Siemens and Polycom tested a setup when we rolled out our no longer Polycom brand SpectraLink phones => here <=

Having worked at Siemens before they show this basic configuration:

ADD-SBCSU:2091,FPP,SIP,1-1-8-28,S0PP,75,75,6,6,6,6,0,0,N,0,0,,,"SBDSS1",Y,Y,0,10,N,Y,,,5,0,1,,,"2091","2091",,,,,;

Above would of course needed to be adopted to your setup.

For more details or support please work with Siemens directly.
