Hello,

Can anybody tell me how I can reset a Trio 8500? It's stuck in a boot loop and the menu is not available.

Thanks,

Sotira

Note that the instructions for the Trio are in the REPLY at the bottom of Steffen's link.

Boot up the phone, and when the phone first displays the Polycom logo, touch the 4 corners of the screen with your fingers and hold.  When the phone starts flashing different colors, release.

Hello @mlotfy ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

From the UC Software 5.9.2 Release notes:

California SB-327 Password Requirement Compliance

Poly Trio systems meet California SB-327 password mandates by requiring administrators to generate a new password before granting access to the system and the system web interface.

Important:

You can't use the default password (456) as the newly generated password.

If your Poly Trio system uses the default administrator password (456), the system requires you to change it to a unique password following an update to UC Software 5.9.2AA.

How do you program the password?

I suggest you get this into support.

In order to raise a support ticket, you need to work with your Poly reseller as they may need to do this for you.

End Customers are usually unable to open a ticket directly with Poly support. Available End User Poly services offerings are detailed here

If this is some sort of an Internet discounter providing your MAC address or your Poly devices serial will enable us to look up who would be able to support you. This may not be who you purchased the Poly device from.
