Hi ,

 

I am using polycom VVX1500 with Asterisk 1.8.23.1 ,when try use Jitsi soft phone  to Jitsi video calls are working fine

 

try to use  Jisti to VVX 1500 not getting video on polycom phone but jitsi softphone getting video 

 

Can advice what i need to configure

Hello Tevatel,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The VVX1500 supports the following Video Standards:

 

  • H.261, H.263, H.263+ (1998), and H.264

Does your third party client support these ?

 

Usually Asterisk does the transcoding and maybe has not the codec's offered in the INVITE available.

 

This requires support via your Polycom reseller.

Above FAQ post can be used on your end to troubleshoot thsi and you may want to try and unregister the VVX from Asterisk and try and IP call from the VVX to your third party software instead to exclude Asterisk.
