Hi ,

 

My name is umesh.

i am trying to configure polycom vvx 601 with avaya cm as a h.323 station.  phone is succefully registered with avaya CM.

 

i am able to make inbound and outbound call through vvx601 phone.

 

but i am not able to transfer call to another extension.

 

so can anybody help me on this.

 

In Active call  transfer soft key  not available.  only HOLD, Endcall, CONFRNCE Key are there. and if i press hold and dial another extension it disconnect the call and go to idle mode.

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Resolution: Please check here

 

Stating the above I do not believe we support Transfer in a H.323 call scenario.

 

For the HOLD scenario I suggest you open a ticket with your Polycom reseller to get clarification on this.

As per Avaya document if we register any third party H.323 phone then limited feature supported as analog extension support.

 

so for Transfer can we make a FlashHook soft Key in Polycom vvx601  .. or can we add Transfer softkey using feature.cfg file..

As already replied we do not support the Transfer feature in a H.323 call scenario.
