I have a Polycom VVX600 which works fine, however, the Colour Expansion Module connected to it looks fine and can be operated via the phone/module but it is not appearing in the web interface as it should do. It is running the latest firmware.

Anyone any ideas as to why it is not appearing as EM1 in the web interface?

Hello cgreen,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

Stating a phone is running the latest version does not tell anyone what version you believe to be the latest at the time of writing the post.

It is therefor always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced may already be addressed in a newer release.

Please also include if you are using a SIP server or a LYNC server

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes.

The above is also stated in the "Read First: Welcome to the Polycom VoIP Forum"

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP UC Software Version or the BootROM Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

Using a Color Expansion Modul does not appear in the Web Interface. Only a Paper Module appears there in order to be able to print the labels.

This is working as designed.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier
