My phone has started sending internal calls/tranfers to unavailable voicemail. I can make internal/external calls and receive external calls.

DND is off, call forwarding is deactivated and the phone is shown as registered under features->line information. I've even deactivated the voicemail in call handling and yet it still goes to voicemail.

What else could it be? Its sounds strange but the cleaners were in at the weekend - is there a shortcut key on the keypad they could have accidentally activated when cleaning the phone?

Update: I looked up call history and the cleaners on Sat did press *212 which sets phones to go directly to voicemail - however I can't find any documentation anywhere as to how to switch this off again!

Hello @a_john,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

To answer you original question this feature has absolutely nothing to do with the VVX.

This is a feature of your yet unknown call server so you need to check with whoever installed this as Polycom will be unable to help with this.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards

Steffen Baier

a_john, You will need to check with your phone provider for the correct * code. for example my phone is registered to a Broadworks platform and I would use the following feature accesss codes to enable/disable Call Forwarding Always To Voice Mail

Call Forwarding Always To Voice Mail Activation *21
Call Forwarding Always To Voice Mail Deactivation #21

You can try #212 but would be best to check with your provider to get the correct code.
