Hello,

I purchased a new Polycom VVX410 on Amazon because it much cheaper than buying through Ring Central. Ring Central helped me program the phone ok, everything works except the Park Soft Key. When I called support they were able to program the softkey on the main screen but we could not get the softkey to program on a active call. We tried it while on a call and while the phone was not on a call.

The code they gave me is *#7275$Tdtmf$ and this is on the screen when the phone is on the hook and there is no active call. As soon as you make a call the softkey goes away.

How can I program this key so it will show on all active calls?

Thanks so much for the help!

Tim

Hello Tim,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The community's VoIP => FAQ <= contains this post here:

Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button / use EFK?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

If the above is not sufficient you should consult the Admin guide.

If both of these sources do not help you programming this you would need to pay for support via your Polycom reseller.

I checked both of these guides and they really do not answer my question. I know how to add the codes for the softkey in the regular web interface, but this only adds the keys when the phone is idle. I need to add this softkey when the phone is on a active call.

Hello Tim,

the linked FAQ post does show different call states (IDLE and DIALTONE) and in addition the Admin Guide shows all available softkey.x.use functionalities.

As already outlined if  both of these sources do not help you programming this you would need to pay for support via your Polycom reseller.
