Hi,

I'm trying to get my web app running in the Polycom web browser to access the phone's REST API on localhost.

For example:

My web app is www.myapp.com/polycom and is running in the Polycom browser.
Typically it only makes REST calls to the myapp.com backend, which is fine.

Now, we are trying to get the web app to make calls to the phone's REST API on localhost, which is a different domain than the web app, which the browser will disallow. This can be worked around by adding a configuration setting on the REST server to allow cross origin calls (www.myapp.com in our case).

Is this something that we can configure the phone with?

Thanks in advance,
Jason

Hello Jason,

welcome back to the Polycom Community.

The REST API , to my knowledge, is not publicly available so I would suggest you contact a Polycom sales engineer who must have shared this with you.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
