I have noticed on many VVX series phones that when a phone is moved or sometimes rebooted, it will fall back to default provisioning server settings. The phone still works and syncs to our system as it is holding its most recent config file but does not hit our NDP server. When I log into the phone I see the provisioning server has defaulted back to FTP an empty spaces in the server URL. Why is this and how can I fix it so it stops defaulting?

Hello @Mr. Anderson ,

Welcome to the Poly Community.

So far we do not know how these phones are provisioned.

  • Are you using the DHCP option?
  • What software are these phones running?
  • Do you have any logs with CURL and COPY set at event 3?
  • What is an NDP server?

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.
