Good afternoon …

First off our VoIP Transport is a Hosted system through our local ISP/Telcomm company….

We have pulling our hair out over this … The phones are getting the correct LLDP and LLDP-MED info from the switch(VLAN and such) , the phones are connecting to the VoIP Transport handoff and receiving their correct DHCP info. The PCs on the pass-thru port of the phone are connecting to their correct VLAN and working properly. But our Issue is that the phones are rebooting every 2-3 minutes and we cannot figure out why..??

Our Primary Switch stack consists of 4 Dell PC6248p Switches. We have pulled a 5th switch from another location and set it up standalone and have the exact same issues ….

We have tried reconfiguring our setup with a brand new Dell X1008p Switch and everything works okay … so now we are certain that there is something up between the vvx400 and the PC6248p switches ..??

Any Ideas ..?? other than replacing our switch stack …?

Hello rmusick,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

We would require to see some logs and wireshark traces to see if the phone receives any CDP or LLDP packets triggering to move networks.

This is outside the scope of he community so please raise a support ticket with Polycom via your Polycom reseller.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Best Regards
