Hello,

I am trying to field a customer request. The request is to make the "Available/Unavailable" and "Sign Out" button appear on the front screen. I was able to recreate the "Sign-in" button and move it to the front, along with the Sign-out button. My only trouble is moving the "Available/Unavailable" because this button natively replaces itself when one is active over the other. If I do them individually, I end up having to hit "More" in order to use them. If I can just move the Available/Unavailable button, that would be helfpul. Or, there is the "Disp Code" you'll see attached that if I could get rid of that button instead, then the Available/Unavailable should just move over. Any ideas? Thank you for any help!

Hello @B Spencer,

Certain keys are simply there when you activate the ACD feature and all you can do is add the keys mentioned in the FAQ post to move them maybe before the originally displayed keys.

If this is not suitable for the customer a feature request would be the next step.

Please ensure to provide some feedback if this reply has helped you so other users can profit from your experience.

Hello @B Spencer,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

It is always useful to include the currently used SIP or UC Software version as issues experienced or a question asked may already be addressed in a newer release.

It may also be of interest what Polycom Phone hardware you are actually talking about.

This also allows yourself and others to check against current software release notes, Administrator Guides or FAQ post’s.

The above is also stated in the "Must Read First" and is the absolute minimum requirement every new post should include. .

In addition providing us with this basic information gives Polycom an idea what Software Versions are used in the field and avoids wasting time trying to troubleshoot issues which have already been addressed.

Therefore the Polycom VoIP FAQ contains this post here:

Question: How can I find out my SIP or UC Software Version of my Phone?
Resolution: Please check here

The only way to create keys is described here:

Nov 25, 2011 Question: How can I change the functionality of a softkey button / use EFK?

Resolution: Please check => here <=

The above may not what you or your customer is looking for.

You can read up here how to request a change:

I apologize that I did not include the necessary information to elaborate into what I am working with.

Phone Model: Polycom VVX 410

Version: 5.5.1.11526

I took a look at the " How can I change the functionality of a softkey button / use EFK?"

Unfortunately, it does not mention anything about Disabling the "DISP CODE" Key nor does it mention how to program the "Unavailable/Available" Key that the Polycom loads by default. Like I said, I can program Unavailable and Available individually, but in order to fit all of the necessary keys used in a call center on the front of the screen, I need to be able to move the Available/Unavailable key to the front of the screen. Please see attachments for reference.

I will accept the above as the solution, specifically to submit a feature request.

I did figure out that by eliminating one of the keys, the keys move to the correct positions I need them in, which auto moves the key from the 2nd screen to the 1st. I just needed to play around with it more. Thank you for everything!
