Hi,

I hope you can help me with the following case:

Scenario:

- Lync Server 2013 w/CU1 OnPremise

- Exchange Online

- Active Directory Federation Services

- DNS Records OK: SRV, Autodiscover, etc.

- CX700 phones:

  Lync features OK

  SRV Records OK

  Internet Access OK

  USB Sign In tethering OK

  UC Firmware 4.0.7577.4387

Problem:

- The CX700 in Calendar Tab Show: "Connecting to Microsoft Exchange. Please Wait..."

- This message remains eternally.

- To discard probe change  incorrect username and showed the message "Microsoft Exchange is unavailable due to invalid network credentials"

- With the correct user the message "Connecting to Microsoft Exchange. Please Wait..." remains eternally.

CX700 is compatible with Office 365 - Exchange Online Calendar, Contacts?

CX700 is compatible with Office 365 - Exchange Online UM?

Thanks,

Francisco

Have you tried the USB method.

For the phone to work with Office 365 you need to have latest UC update on the phone.

Thanks,

Our Lync consult told us that this is the issue with Polycom and Micorsoft. Polycom have to update the phone so that it will be able to received Microsoft certificate. A lot of their cutomers have this problem but it has been several month and I don't hear anything. From Polycom. July code didnt fix any of this issue either.

Polycom get this fix before I drop all your phone and go with another vendor.

Hello RobM,

welcome to the Polycom Community.

The Polycom CX700 and the identical LG-Nortel 8450 belong to the so called Tanjay family and are based on a reference design by our Partner Microsoft.

The Software running on the Phone, the LYNC client and the LYNC server itself are all Microsoft software products.

Polycom manufactures the device and provides the low level drivers but the phone itself is running the Microsoft Software and this is only distributed directly by Microsoft.

If any issues are found on the CX range phones you need to work directly with your Polycom reseller and/or Polycom support to report these issues.

Posting in the community is not automatically raising this with our support team.

As explained above it may be much simpler to raise a ticket directly with Microsoft if a advertised as supported functionality is not working.

Checking the CX700 datasheet and the 7577.4397 release notes I cannot find any mention of Office 365 / Exchange online fixes or added functionality.
