Hi guys,

We have 2 IP6000 Polycom units installed onsite, first one was setup a few weeks ago, and works perfectly, however the 2nd one does not work properly.

Its settings are identicle to the first with exception of IP Address, name, ext number etc, it can recieve calls, and make internal calls, however when dialling out it fails, usually with a BT error type tone "number not recognised".

Bit odd as both the units are setup idenitcally with exception to the important bits (Name / Ext / DDI etc) and one works fine, but the newer one does not.

Any ideas?

Hi thank for the response,

I logged into both units and they both have the same Digitmap

[2-9]11|0T|011xxx.T|[0-1][2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxxxxxxx|[2-9]xxxT

Which im guessing is the default? however one is working and the other is not. Should i change these to something more specific for the UK?

Hello TelcareLtd,

the mentioned FAQ post also shows how to use phone logs to troubleshoot the digitmap and be able to check which one is used.
