Hi There,

 

I have several vvx600 phones on 5.4.0.5436 connected to my asterisk server

 

When on hook or not in call, I can use all 12 buttons and generate DTMF. As soon as I make a call and the call connects, I can no longer send * or 0 but I can still send tones from 1 to 9 plus #

 

I have tried this vvx600 phone with another provider callcentric and the same results, I then tried a softphone and a cisco loan phone to my asterisk server and they can generate the 0 and *

 

I monitored sip debugging and you can see the sip data for the other numbers but nothing is sent from the phone when it is 0 or *.

 

Its not a dialplan issue as this would affect the abillity to dial * or 0 when on hook.

 

I thought maybe its not the phone, but the softphones and loan phone work fine and the vvx600 does this on both providers I have tried.

 

Hopefully it is a setting I have messed up

This should now be 5.4.0.5841 . The text on the support page should be updated by mid this week.

 

The version with the bug prior to this was 5.4.0.5436

Initial testing shows the problem experienced has been resolved. now waiting for the support download page so I can put it on my provisioning server
